Come to find out my wife gave me the message two days late. Since I didn’t get back with them they sold it.

I have my own phone. For some reason, since my wife is also in their system because she’s had some jewelry work done they called her number by accident. I’m just generally screwed on this story lol

Went by last night to look at the Sea Dweller that is still there AND to communicate to NEVER leave a message with my wife. So in the span of three days I could of had a GMT and was offered a Sew Dweller. I really wanted he GMT and could care less about the Dweller.. the Daytona, they say I ill get in 2020. We will see.

Went by last night to look at the Sea Dweller that is still there AND to communicate to NEVER leave a message with my wife. So in the span of three days I could of had a GMT and was offered a Sew Dweller. I really wanted he GMT and could care less about the Dweller.. the Daytona, they say I ill get in 2020. We will see.
Your gripe is with your WIFE, not the AD. Tell her to give you any messages that she takes. Don't expect the AD to remember to only talk to you when they call.

Yes, the wife is at fault for not passing the message on. If she didn't want to act as a messenger girl she should have told the AD to call her hubby directly. Obviously the AD had two numbers and got in contact with the wife, and they left a message. Marriage is a partnership, you work as a team.

I feel for the OP, missing out on your 1st choice and then having to decide whether to jump on something that you're not on the list for, just because it's so hard to get anything at all.

While I was on the wait list for a ceramic Daytona and Pepsi GMT last year, I got the call for a Deep Blue. The Deep Blue was #3 on my personal wishlist, but I told the AD that I needed to save my money for one of the other two watches 1st. I finally broke down and got my Pepsi GMT from a 3rd party, so this summer I added the Deep Blue to the AD's list. I may actually prefer D-Blue over the Daytona, since I have wide wrists and the YG Daytona on leather that I was offered felt too small.

If I had taken the Deep Blue from the AD when it was offered, I'd still have needed to buy my Pepsi GMT from a 3rd party; but I wouldn't now be waiting over 6 months for the D-Blue (they haven't received one since 2018, so they seemed positive I'd have one before the end of the year).
