In the late 80s, there were 3.3DM to the £ .... I don't remember the rate changes going into 1990.

Interesting how the M90 was valued compared to those Rolexes. Also, funny how that Orator was in the same range as the Speedy and Co-pilot.

    Thanks for posting.

Yes, they were valued higher than today. Especially M90/95 with gold cases were over 10k (DM).

..I would not have expected that already in the early 90ies there were put-together-Speedies around....
..Ed White case, 70/80 bezel and Professional 67 dial...

I never knew those Rolexes already had yellow colored tritium when released.. I thought it was that colour now because of patina?

The 1675 was produced in 1959, so it's had more time to patina than you'd think!

Killer catalog, wish I was born so I'd be able to bid...

Reminds me of the early 90’s looking at the AD window and seeing new subs for £1600 thinking one day think my monthly wage was £400 then

If I only had a time machine, I'd load on on those Daytona's.

I love the GMTs, although, the Fat Lady is priced higher than the 1675s which I found interesting.

    Thanks for sharing.

The exchange rate in 1994 was about 1.65:1. The max during the year was 1.76 and the min was 1.49.
