Anybody know? I just received a 1952 or '53 Seamaster and the crystal is unmarked. I wonder if it's an aftermarket replacement or if could it be original. Thanks for the input!
Thank you for that prompt lesson! I searched, I couldn't imagine this hasn't been discussed, but didn't find that thread. Again this is further proof of the great knowledge base of this forum.
I had a replacement original crystal fitted when i bought this one so it still has the Omega symbol on it. If you want the correct one they are available, it took a month or so for the watchmaker to get it though.
