    Sounds like a question for one of our watchmakers, personally I like the full rotor models because as an engineer, the idea of something bumping back and forth is a bit strange.

    Neither are sought after as much as the chronometer versions. Bumpers from the 50's like in the first picture are a little more quirky and have a loyal fan club but the full rotor calibers of the 55x/56x series are the ones that generally sell for higher prices.

    The full rotor movements are more durable and clearly in Omegas own thinking in moving away
    from the bumper wind system, then technically superior.

    As for collectability I have to vote bumper or the earlier full rotor 500 - 505 series of movements.
    As already noted a big plus would go to any of the fully adjusted chronometer versions of the
    movements under discussion.

    Overall condition in my mind would be more of a factor than bumper vs rotor wind.
