Accutron Spaceview franken that I bought naively off e-bay years ago. Never looked good on my wrist no matter what band. My wife just loves the thing even if it works intermittently. I think I need to just break down and have it fully serviced.
My wife will grab my 1946 JLC red gold manual wind now & again. She doesn't even bother trying to get her mitts on anything else anymore.
@Gaz6263 this one used to be mine.. https://omegaforums.net/threads/an-...d-unite-its-showtime.37665/page-3#post-433464 I lost it immediately after it arrived...
I have to laugh seeing these watches. My wife is convinced when I bought the Rolex it was for her originally. Strangely enough my recollection is somewhat different. I see looking at @alam post above there have been other threads of a very similar nature to this one. Apologies for starting another but I'm a bit bored on holiday.
That thread was quite different. It was created by a woman member to celebrate women wearing watches. So yes, guys posted pictures of their wives wearing watches, but in that thread the wives were heroïns, not villains And the watches were not necessarily "snatched" --many were loving presents, or sourced in other ways.
Neither do I. It's a helluva good looking watch. I'm sure you would! That's because it was completely redone at the factory in Le Sentier. Don't ask how much - it was more than the watch would fetch if sold. Thank you!
DeVille GMT... suits her better anyway and she likes the sparkle more than the black dial and tachy that I prefer..
My wife didn't wear a watch until she saw this... Never see this anymore! Notice how she stores her earnings on the strap when not in use...not going to see it any time soon either. It makes her happy and that's what counts!
