it's a fictitious room where you can send your pet hates banishing them from the world forever. Basically things that annoy you and drive you mad. Like the fluffy sheepskin cushions I refer to above on eBay!

 

Any Hublot with "king" in the name.

And most others.

 

Any seller who claims "original dial" when it's been repainted.

Any seller who uses the word "minty". Toothpaste is minty; watches are not.

Any seller who describes every old watch as "art deco".

...... come to think of it, my room 101 is more like a penitentiary than a room. And like modern prisons, it would be overcrowded.

I bought an IWC off a seller who does the sheepskin thing. It's definitely NOT crappy.

 

Maybe that's where I'm going wrong, if there was one in there at £10 I would scroll right past! This is the typical quality of what I mean.

 

People who try to open nice watches with 6" nails, screw drivers and can openers!

People who say "the bay" instead of ebay. ebay is a 20 year old web site on which the first item sold was a broken laser pointer. The first hit on Google for "the bay" is a Canadian department store. Did you actually buy your watch there? If so, you are exempt!
