There is only one Omega grail, the Centenary, the rest of you are just wrong.
I see one of these sold today for £1,530 incl premium (Bonhams, London). Presumably condition was a factor?

Btw make mine a Constellation Grand Luxe, please. It doesn't need to be platinum though.

Probably a Tropical 2998 with a Lollipop hand. I’ve been lucky enough to see a few and they’ve been absolutely stunning in person.

This was my grail but bought a 2998 Lollipop privately about a year ago and love it. It is not tropical and it has some issues but I think it is extremely attractive and a true 2998 tropical with a Lollipop is just beyond my means. I have a Seamaster big triangle which was my first really big vintage Omega purchase so think I really want a 2914 to finish my Omega Trilogy. I don’t think a 2915 or 2913 will ever be something I attain (cost on the 2915 and cost/bezel issues on 2913). As a result, I think a 2914 is my one route into the three original references. Though finding a good one at a good price is not going to be easy.

Pic of my 2998 because you can’t ever have enough pictures.

I do like the 2998 Lollipop but this "Youngtimer" is really nice too:

Cheers

I have my Grail watch. You can barely make it out on my Grail Dad's photo w/Joe Morgan almost 50 years ago.

Didn't think I would ever own a pre-moon but right place right time it came together, so grail achieved but there is always something else, 2915's are nice and all that but I'd be happy with a nice original Ultraman.

condition, 33mm, unclear pictures and the fact they have a nasty habbit of charging (me) a 600 pound shipping fee.

speaking of which, I think I'll take a 2500 centenary in pink, please 😉

Such a beautiful watch, the Constellation variant is out of this world too, have you ever handled either one? Me of course not, the closest I've been was whilst visiting the Omega museum where they had a number of cloisonne enamel pieces on display, although unfortunately neither a Seamaster nor Constellation. The ones I did see were gorgeous behind glass, I can only imagine how they must look and feel when on the wrist.

@watchyouwant is this one your ex? Also from my Bienne visit...

Yes, that is my Ex White dial Railmaster. Had to be auctioned off due to a Court ordered divorce case. Went cheap and the buyer doubled his money in offering it to the Omega Museum. Where it resides now. But many years later I found the next generation pre Railmaster for Canada with the modified swan neck movement. Which I wear often.....

Probably an early de luxe with gold flat link bracelet or the even rarer white gold Constellation

Nice!
A museum cosmic came into U.K. a while ago and I bailed out at about £2800 and it only went for 3100 or so. No cards or provenance, but excellent condition

I could have many (Early Speedy & Seamster 300) but I've been looking for a while now for a nice 146.017 that is not to be seen very often. Unfortunately (following the market trends) the prices have gone up and the ones I found are either not nice enough and/or too expensive for me 😀

This would make a perfect couple with my Seamster 145.018
