·Collectible is a malleable term (like tropical is to some 😒) so I'd say there can be a "universally collectible" list that is based on collectibility for return on investment and another based on the tastes of individual enthusiasts. Look to all the recent auctions for a list of "universally collectible" trends. For my personal list:
1. Early 2998 with lollipop and base 1000 - checks all the boxes
2. Military seamaster 300 - provenance and such
3. 2915 - first Speedy
4. 105.012 - first curved lug, the 65's were on the moon
5. Black dialed cosmic triple date - gorgeous and because I want @CanberraOmega 's
