Here's mine just received yesterday and more than just please!

SEIKO HIGH BEAT 16 JEWELS CLOCK

Yes the similar one resting at the Seiko Museum~ 100,000 Yen need to do a inflation check to see what's the equivalent now.

Will need to adjust the hour hand for now, otherwise really nice and heavy at approximately 5kg!

Width approx. 16 cm x depth approx. 13 cm x height approx. 18.5 cm

The sweeping hands just crazily smooth and a joy to watch.

There are some instruction in japanese at the back of the metal door but i do not quite comprehend.

    Photos just taken with my omega 1000m for size comparison. IMG_5963.jpg IMG_5964.jpg IMG_5965.jpg IMG_5966.jpg IMG_5967.jpg IMG_5968.jpg

Have a good remaining rest of the year and stay safe!

Yes, please be careful everyone. You don't want to be a Paul Baumer, the end of this pandemic is so very near. I know it will be so tempting to let down your guard for the holidays, but lets be safe.

The clock is very cool, does it have an option for Kanji days?

Clock would double as a mini safe. Where is the clock from, vintage or new?

The 100,000円 price was the list price when released in 1966.

They are a nice model with a very cool sweep hand action. The perspex case would have been very futuristic in the mid 60's.

Let's see your last incoming watches guys!

I ordered a Marathon SAR quartz diver to use as my paddling and swimming watch. I usually sneak out to the water early and setting a watch is beyond me before coffee, so quartz it is!

Last one of the year. I thought my Ploprof was going to take that honor, but couldn't pass on a complete set Classics Heuer Monza at the purchase price. Keeps great time. Looking for a similar iteration Monaco. Love the Classics Heuer line, second to my Omegas.

I was able to get one more in under the wire, so to speak. Found a first re-issue Classics Limited Heuer Monaco to go with my re-issue Classics Heuer Monza. Love the Heuer logo on the dials. Both the Monza and Monaco are like new came with all original packaging. I think I may be done on this front unless a Heuer Silverstone comes along...
