    Hi there,

sorry for this being my first thread in this wonderful forum without introducing myself and please apologize my poor English writing, as I am not a native speaker. I just found this Speedy on EBay and wonder what is wrong with it and I just want to learn.
http://www.ebay.de/itm/Omega-Speedmaster-von-1964-/172173288076?Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

Seller claims everything original and corresponding to that refference 105.003-64

    - Wrong Bezel? Wrong hands? Even wrong Caseback for the Serial?
    Thanks for your input.

    Cheers
    Thomas

Definitely incorrect bezel. And I'm not a fan of the lume discoloration.

Serial is too high for a 64, can't see the T Swiss made T, wrong chronosecond hand, wrong bezel, strange lume color, heavily polished, wrong bracelet, wrong crown...

It looks pretty horrible in its current state. Mainly due to the dial being very tired and contrasting awfully with the new hands and bezel.

A year or two ago this might've gone reasonably cheap. Swapping in a faded bezel and darkened hands, may have resulted in a watch that while not a good example, had decent character and was good for a daily wearer.

Even in its current state, it won't go cheap though.

Agree with these comments. Casebook doesn't correspond to the serial number. Not a 64. Would need a lot of work and money to replace bezel, pushers, crown, bracelet, etc.
Be interesting to see what that sells for in the end? If it goes through?
