    Hi All,

Googled this forum and the wider internet, but have come up with little concrete info. I have found similar watches, but not exactly the same one.

I inherited this from a relative and think it dates to the late 60's.

    Happy to post more pictures.

    Thanks,
    Dave

    Correct

to get more concrete info you will need to arrange for the case to be opened and get movement number and cal. and numbers inside case back.

You will not be able to retire on the proceeds but a nice model never the less

Quite possibly but could also be a 168.029 (also a cal 751) and that's just off top of my head. You will still need to open it up and confirm. as well as finding out if it is gold plated/filled or maybe solid gold.
Then value will be based on condition and when last serviced etc.

    That would be a 168.019 with a 751 caliber.

    Correct, a 751 has the day/date.

    This is mine

No, it's not a 168.029, then it would have a different, coin edge bezel.
    As other said, it's a 168.019 and should have a cal.751 inside.

No need to open it up, if it's solid gold, the back should be gold as well, if it has a gold front and steel back it's a gold cap.
(Looks steel to me, but maybe just bad color calibration/white balance on the photos?)
