    Hi all,

I fall in love with UG unicompax, particularly this more modern example.

What's a good price range I should be looking at? Hope to get a reasonable deal. Thanks.

There are quite a few variation but I like this the most. Hardly see this in stainless steel though. Is this a rare model? Able to get it under $2000 euro?

That is a nice mid fifties Uni Compax. Looks like "there'd be Gold" and by tint it is likely to be 18 Karat. Dial is original and so are hands and rest of what (from what I can see). It looks like a small one (283 caliber) so around 33.5mm in diameter. Value is difficult to judge on a photo but 2K euro for a gold almost 70 year old uni-compax in what looks like decent condition is not unreasonable. It is a bit of a bargain actually!

Pretty sure the crown is not Correct. So this has flaws. 2000 fair price.

Do you have a better picture ?

2k€ is reasonable, depending on how much the watch is polished and of course movement condition ...

Not sure about the pushers also !

Sorry guys this is but an example of the model I am aiming for. Cant find anything like this at WatchRecon. I am still trying to assess what's the amount of dough I need to shelve out for 1 in decent condition. I rem Kov had 1 a few months ago. Pity.

Here are examples of what good - excellent looks like:

The first two are my 38mm:
The second two are my 35mm:
The last is owned by another OF member.

Expect to pay 2500 -3500 for a decent watch. Obviously the 38mm will tip the higher end of the scale.

How much are steel Uni Compaxes? Seem to be quite rare, especially in the 38mm versions

That's why these gold Chrono's are such a bargain...for now. Honestly they are perfectly acceptable for casual wear.

I just can't get into yellow gold. Maybe it's because I'm of Indian origin and so have too many relatives who like gold too much, but give me steel, or even rose gold!
