·I was trying on a white dial moonwatch today at my AD and was offered 10% discount without even trying. It made me wonder what is the standard discount that people are being offered these days?

·Mine offers to pay the sales tax. The OB gives nothing, but I only buy the hard to get ones from there.

·Depends on the watch. ADs will give something on a normal production item like a white dial Speedmaster, but nothing on rarer items. OBs tend to give nothing but they'll often throw in an Omega strap and deployant buckle to seal the deal. Manufacturers have squeezed the margins over the years so not as much margin to play with.

·But, paying retail for two new releases in 5 months at the OB helped me get a Snoopy a week after I asked for one. So there's that to consider.

·Yes. Still offered a 10% discount. Can’t complain! I certainly won’t be thinking about that potential extra 5% after a few days if having a lovely white moonwatch on my wrist.

·From a broker comes with all the papers and warranty , more or less AD in some part of the “world” have to sell a specific amount of watches then to make the numbers order and resale the watch except of course ( Rolex, PP,AP) al others brand available and the broker is not working for free the 24% is the discount that I got .

·Little update and a close to this thread. I’ve just walked out of my AD with a white moonwatch on the bracelet. I was given 10% discount (£760) plus a free black rubber strap RRP £260.
