This might be a dumb question, but what's the difference between the 2200.50 and the other references that look exactly the same? Same size, same black dial with white numerals etc. I know some have straps vs bracelets etc, but I see some with an identical looking bracelet.

Just trying to learn because I love the look of the 2200.50.

Thanks

What reference are you comparing it to? The closest lookin' one is the 2201.50 which is 42mm vs 45mm

I also know that the 2200.50 are different, the first series has a matte black dial and another black one. I still can't understand anything else

"...but I see some with an identical looking bracelet."

There is the 2200.51.00 - this has a black dial, 45mm (like the 2200.50.00) and bracelet with the difference being the numerals are in orange and not white. Naturally this isn't identical due to the different color numerals but it's otherwise very close to the 2200.50.00. Is this the one you're referring to that is "exactly the same"?

Edit: you called out the white numerals already... 🤦

For instance, 2900.50.81

To me it looks just like the 2200.50. Both black faces with the same white numerals and stainless bracelet.

Just realized another reference is actually a bond special edition.

But the 2900.50.81 came standard with a black rubber strap / white stitching, no? Setting it apart from the 2200.50.00 in that way. If you put a bracelet on it, then yes it would look just the same as the 2200.50.00. If you saw the 2900.50.81 with a bracelet on it, then perhaps the owner bought a bracelet after the fact to change up the look?
