What's the better way to remove adhesive from a plastic crystal?

I read either baby oil, or rubbing alcohol. Anyone have any experience with this? Obviously looking to avoid fogging or otherwise messing up the crystal. Thanks.

Either will work, I've used WD40 as well.

Get ready to hurl [aka talk on the big white phone]...

    Nose grease and/or forehead grease.

Commence hurling [aka talking on the big white phone].

You don’t want any solvents. Mineral or veg oil is best.

Since a solvent is anything that will dissolve another substance, I'm pretty sure he does want some kind of solvent. Not all solvents are very harsh, in fact you drink one every day...water is a very effective solvent...many things dissolve in it.

For stickers that are very stubborn I have used eucalyptus oil with great results, but I admit I've never tried it on an acrylic crystal. It does leave a very nice smell behind though! :)

I would not worry too much about what you use - just don't go crazy and if something "fogs" I'm sure some polywatch will clean it up without too much trouble. I have wiped down crystals with 99% alcohol without any problems.

    Cheers, Al

Fly spray is the best for stickers on any surface ;)

I like Goo-Gone for removing adhesive labels and other troublesome gunk. Works like magic. I haven't tried it on a watch crystal but I don't recall having issues using it on plastic.
