Generally redials are frowned on a lot by collectors

i thought that myself,it looks nice, but not sure on it, as the dial is refurbished and not sure if it will be worthy addition to my new collection

    hanging's too good for 'em.

Seriously, it diminishes collector appeal, ranging from totally kills it if done badly to a reduces it a lot if done well. In no way is it a good thing, unless the dial is a total loss and the watch has very little value as it stands.

ah right, so i shall stay away from refurbished dials then, as it wont be a worthy addition to my new collection.

Right! Glad you could read through my subtlety:p

You could post pics and get a forum consensus on the piece in question....

Ah! It looks like one of those Thai redials. Well, the most important thing is for you to like it, so if you can get it for cheap, go for it. Just be aware resale value is next to nothing.

It will not. I wouldn't pay anything for that because it doesn't evoke the same memories for me. All it evokes is a Thai dude slapping lume on with a trowel.

Its not rare anyway, you'll find an original one with some patience.

Wouldn't touch a redial that doesn't look exactly like the original - and Omegas never do.

You've learned much from my lessons on tact. :D

Leave original it adds to the character and the collectors out their prefer it left original. Also won't do anything for the value.
