Hey folks, there's an auction coming up not too far from my area and there are a few watches that have caught my eye.

I've been here long enough now to know that there are some very knowledgeable and passionate watch people around these parts. To those people.....do you mind sparing a few minutes and taking a look at the pieces below?

Any hints, tips, red flags etc greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

No, just any to avoid will work just fine. What do you want me to do? Start 10 threads!

The highlight here is clearly the rail master IMO. Hot ticket. Everything else is sub $500.

I do also like the Seamaster 600 with the technical dial, and the last longines there. Most of them look pretty good but really nothing terribly noteworthy over a regular day on eBay aside from the rail master.

The ones you notice the lugs are over polished is a good start.

No 4 dial looks too good for the age of the watch ?

Railmaster will go for a bit even in the condition it's in.

Railmaster is worth more than everything else combined.

I like number 9 - any info on the reserve/what they're listing it as?

They all have an estimate between £50-150. That's what got my interest.
But, as we know, with any auction estimates can go out of the window.

The Railmaster comes with a note, 'crudely engraved on back with owners details'. At the right price though I think I could live with that.
