I know the general consensus is most people like original.

I'm looking to buy my first vintage moonphase and I have the choice of this redone UG

Or going for a Clebar seen HERE

I'm leaning towards the Clebar to be honest. Obviously I would like a nice UG in the same condition as the Clebar but find it tough to find one at a good price point.

Just keen to hear other opinions.

    Thanks

Yup. That's the problem with the rookies, they're too impatient. 'Course it also means there's a market for some of our early acquisitions ;)

haha fair enough. I msut admit i am very impatient. The Clebar is original though. My kick off my vintage collection with it.

Condition on that Clebar is pretty rough and the asking price is quite high, all for a model that isn't particularly desirable. I'd keep your wallet in your pocket for a while longer and keep looking.
