Hello
I´m a new member with a small collection, one of them is the Omega 4,8mm in the first photo, silver, year 1925.
The other members of my collection:
- Tissot PRS 516 automatic
- Tag Aquaracer automatic
- Oris Complication (cal.581)automatic
- Oris Flight Timer R4118 Limited Edition
- Bulgari "Via Dei Condotti" (cal.B77)
- Longines 35mm gold 18K

About the question: i want to buy a new watch, a Omega de Seamaster De Ville, cal. 89, year 1969, that you can see in the photos.
What your opinion and a fair price?
Greetings

HI David. That SMDV is a caliber 601. I'm not exactly sure what years the SMDV was made with the manual wind 60x series. The automatics were from 1963 to 1967, but the manuals were a wider range I believe.

If it isn't a frankenwatch, then I could see it selling for around $525, give or take $75. My spider sense is tingling though because something doesn't seem right about it. Wait for some more opinions.

Hi
Why is your "spider sense" tingling? Have you seen any problem?
This photo helps?

Okay, that makes more sense. 1 = man's watch / 3 = manual wind center seconds / 5 = water resistant without date... so that reference number makes sense. I'm still not sure that Omega used DE VILLE on the dial as late as 1969 with those front loading cases so it's a good idea to wait for more opinions.

From the Omega Vintage Database - see below.

Seems like this model was made through 1973. Only shows in here steel, but certainly possible that it could have been made in gold cap.

Looks good to me!
