hi to all,
I have the curiosity to find out when Omega or other high end brands started producing cases SS & Gold. I have an Omega from 40’s SS case with rose gold bezel, could it be that was done by special request? I can’t find any similar watch .
I really appreciate your comments. Thanks
The watch it’s ref . 2272 1 oversized

Didn't @LouS have a watch like this for sale some time ago? I could be wrong and it could be someone else or a different brand. It's awfully purrty though!

I have two Chronometres 30T2SCRg, circa 1944-1945. Both of them steel with pink gold bezel , gold hands and indices.

Both of them for the Argentinian market.

Well may be I should change the post tittle and write case with stainless steel and gold bezel? Or it’s already a 2 tone case SS&G ?

It wasn't Lou, it was @Tony C.

Pic is his. A watch he sold a little while back. Hope he doesn't mind me sharing.
