    Hi!

A bit of a weird one, but Im thinking of changing from diver to chronograph.

I´ve got this 165.024-64 with a bracelet (1171/633) and Extract of the Archives. It runs pretty well but it will be needing service at some point, never serviced while in my possesison.

Which Speedmaster reference do you think is equal to my Seamaster? I know it is a bit of a hard one, but let´s give it a try :)

transitional right? With applied logo and DON? I guess it comes down to some specifics about condition as well...

Hm, you should know I have really bad impulse control... Would you say a trade would be head only 145.012 vs my 165.024?

I would say you most likely will not get a straight-up trade for a '67. I think you would need to bring a $1-2k USD to the table, depending on condition.

While I am looking to add a 165.024 to my small collection, I have no plans to part with my '67 unless it is going towards a '63-'66.

Ah okey! So if I were to trade it for a transitional (lets say with applied logo but without DON), I should expect money back my direction? I had a 105.003 before they became crazy expensive, I had a hard time getting it sold then...

You would be closer to even on a transitional, depending on condition. I doubt you would walk away with much more then pocket change though. The recent pricing trends are valuing these similar to 145.012s less a little for the difference between 861 and 321. Shoot, several have even been listed for >$10k over the past week...

The equivalent Speedmaster in terms of case reference would likely be a 105.012 (-64 if you could find one), but equivalent in cash terms would likely be 145.022-69.

pricewise I'd say 145.022, but no DON no 220 and no straight writing..
