With all the respect Rolex gets for its dive watches, it's good to be reminded that a large part of their market is people who love bling--diamonds, mother of pearl, engraving, etc.

That’s the Eldorado edition. It comes with a big silver belt buckle and a ‘76 Cadillac with steer horns on the hood.

I would say that its lived a hard life and had the crap scratched out of the case so they engraved the hell out of it to make an unsaleable turd saleable.

and it's going to work too, because somewhere out there is a '76 Cadillac owner who needs an ugly ass watch to go with his immense turquoise belt buckle.

too by my Caddy is a 68, it just wouldn't work.

It's like someone took their watch to a jeweler and said: "make my watch look like the handle of an ugly fork."

Yeah, won’t work with a ‘68. You need this with a large pinky ring.

    My thoughts exactly.
Those learning the art of firearms engraving usually develop their skill by working on older guns with the surfaces degraded by wear and corrosion past the point of restoration. Often as not the practice pieces are relics no longer safe to fire or discarded receivers and other parts.
The condition of dial and crystal would seem to bear that out.
Its stated this is a "project watch". Probably not even intended for sale when first completed.
