I’m entertained anyway. For the moment. But these threads are like soap bubbles. Amusing but they disappear fast.
The watch that gets me the most respect is the one Don Corleone gave me back in the day. If I wear it in certain locations (i.e., NJ, NY), it's amazing how good the pasta dinners are when I go to the restaurants
Hey now, I've decided to stop fighting it. I can't stop the tidal wave, so I'm not only embracing it, I'm surfing it! ..... with a little help from pharmaceuticals, that is. I wanna be the biggest WUSsie here! Keep an eye out for my new twist on "What car = what watch?" soon! Maybe I'll even install a new avatar! Did I mention I ♥️ exclamation points?!?!?!
James Bond is the only Brit that I know that would ever wear a Watch “on the job”. He’s a fictional character so not sure if technically I can give him my respect. I couldn’t find a picture of James actually “on the job”, this is as close as I could get, I think it must be shortly after, as he has his arm around the young lady and is not asleep yet. .......nice watch though and it’s not even very ........shinny!
My only watch when I’m on the job grappling around under cars. Sometimes I have to take it off to get my arm into tight spaces.
Never received comments like "Wow, cool watch, you must be a serious player" or similar. On the other hand: "That watch makes you look old!" I'm sure I've heard. Thread idea @ulackfocus : "Which watch makes you look older?"
