Late 30s or early 40s. Welcome to OF. It's best to ask questions before buying.

This list I checked indicates that Omega produced approx. 1 million movements between 1939 and 1944. How active was Omega during WWII? They produced about 1 million watches from 1944 to 1947, according to this list. This is just a guess, but the subject watch might have been made circa 1941-42. I very much doubt the watch had an actual name. The number in the case back appears to me to be a case serial number, not a model number. The movement appears to me to be a calibre 300. This movement was used in a wide range of case styles, including square and rectangular styles, as well as round.

yeah i probably should have in hindsight but i joined the forum after buying it! I just got it now and its in good condition and runs great however its much much smaller than i thought it would be but just the fact that its a late 30 early 40s watch makes it pretty cool!

thanks so much for the help!
