I’ve always fancied getting one of these but I had thought that the silver indices would, somehow, be brighter.

Brighter than what? They are rhodium plated like other white gold markers from that era.

Thanks, I hadn’t realised that they were gold 😟 I had assumed the case and the indices were stainless steel

1 of my LONGINES 18k oversize and guilloche dial,with solid gold hands and markers.1 LONGINES TANK 1930 18k long.and the last pictures is many of my LONGINES I collect since the 80s.
Really like that tank, dibs if you ever tire of it!
And your collection looks impressive, it would be super nice to see more pictures👍

Is it bad that I have migrated from wearing a Longines military to a Longines 30L to an IWC mecaquartz and now a Casio illuminator that costs 19.99 USD.Hmmm....
