    I’ve always fancied getting one of these but I had thought that the silver indices would, somehow, be brighter.

    Brighter than what? They are rhodium plated like other white gold markers from that era.

    Thanks, I hadn’t realised that they were gold ::shy:: I had assumed the case and the indices were stainless steel

    Is it bad that I have migrated from wearing a Longines military to a Longines 30L to an IWC mecaquartz and now a Casio illuminator that costs 19.99 USD.Hmmm....
