My watch is the one with the date. The other one is a pic of the net, it has no date. My strap on the date one has a more dress size type strap, the other more plain.

Which strap do you guys think suits the watch the best?

    Is that real pebble-grained alligator?

Hard to choose between the two. I think I'm going for the more understated calf to compliment that particular style of Omega watch.

Either way, it's gotta be black.

I agree the calf is more understated, the watch has not been polished so that may have something to do with it does not shine so much. I got the strap in the London Omega Retail store and it's a pebble grain leather cost £75. Not sure on the type of leather, it says Omega on the strap and has some numbers on it.

I agree the calf is a better match. I do like gator straps, but with a much flatter finish. I don't like that patent leather look. I also prefer imitation skin vs genuine.

If you like the textured look you could bet a "buffalo" grain strap.

I'll go against the "grain." Brown calf

The croc skin would really compliment this dress watch IMO. Or maybe try a brown lizard skin.

I like them both equally. I do not think a brown strap works on this watch because of the black onyx. A burgundy strap, however, would, and that makes a statement! I got a NOS burgundy shell cordovan strap on my Elgin Type A-11, and it looks fabulous.

Burgundy sounds nice. How about Omega red?

Thanks! Yeah precisions are very simple and elegant. And very reasonably priced. Perfect daily beater.
