I've been listening to the following, and thoroughly enjoying them for the past few months. Figured I'd use this thread as a way to discover new channels 馃榾.

- Freakonomics Radio by Stephen Dubner
- Hardcore History by Dan Carlin
- Exponent by Ben Thompson (discussion about tech companies, strategy, role in society, etc.).
- The HODINKEE one that started recently. Some worthwhile conversations in there.

I recently discovered The Joe Rogan Experience, it has really interesting interviews that I like to put in the background while having a drink or meal

Hah, I suppose it is rather likely. They are popular podcasts. I haven't checked out the NPR one yet so I will today on my drive home.

Quite a few of the above are my favourites too but I also like:-

Time4aPint- of course! Watches
The Grey Nato - watches and gear
Cocaine And Rhinestones - country music people are way crazier than Rock and Roll people
WTF - most comedians and actors are narcissists, but they do have some great stories to tell

I must try some of the Dan Carlin stuff, thanks for the recommendation

The Mark Cuban episode of How I Built This is fascinating. A deep dive into an entrepreneurial mindset.

The Revisionist History episodes on Rowan University and how higher education funding works is amazing. I think he fired all his bullets on those episodes. Nothing he鈥檚 done since is nearly as smart or thoughtful.

The Tony Kornheiser show. Takes a bit of getting used to(its kinda like one big inside joke) but the guests and sports/culture stuff is great. They forgive anything for smart and funny. It鈥檚 really a smart show once you get past some of the idiocy. They never take themselves too seriously. I think it鈥檚 the best podcast out there.

+1 for Cocaine and Rhinestones. Anyone that appreciates good storytelling, painstakingly researched history, or music of any genre would enjoy it.
