Dial is mostly clean with some dirt here and there. They say it's 14kt. Hallmark on lug. Looks to be 35mm and manual wind. Facets on lugs are sharp. Should I get it for $700 cash USD? Any info would be greatly appreciated. They can't open it at the moment. Sorry for quick and dirty pics. I I would say half of the dirt is on the crystal.
At this point I just know what to look into more... They were wondering why I wasn't asking more about the $1500 quartz baume and mercier. I will be there first thing tomorrow to pick up, as store closed before your comments rolled in.
Where the hell are the pawn shops near me with these gems? Nice find, that’s one of the more unusual Longines dials and appears to be in very good shape. Is the crown bent, or is that just a distortion of the picture?
Looks that way from multiple photos. It did seem to wind just fine but I'll go in tomorrow and check it out. Given the other comments this should not deter me. Does this model have a name? What caliber can I expect inside? Thank you so much for all your help, guys! Ben
Thank you so much. I shoulda bought it right there... I assume it will be there when the store opens. They said it has been there for months... Thanks for all the help.
That’s always been one of my favorite dials. 22LS not hard to find parts for as likely need new winding stem during mandatory post-pawnshop service. And get rid of that strap.
So............ I own it! And surprise on the movement/case which I just was able to open and snap pictures of from home. It's a 23M (dunno what that means) and it would appear that the case is Swiss made. I assume the case not being American is a good thing. Big plus that it is 36mm. This also means it is not the same as the second time around watch listing from earlier (which is a 31mm american case). Does this change anything? And thanks for all the positivity!
