All these posts around my recent auction win got me thinking, what is my favorite model? I think the new gold one may be once cleaned, but I know I like the grey dialed version as well. so, I pose to you all, what is your favorite tri-compax model and why?

Probably it'll be the 1st one I'll buy. Those classic plain white dials do it for me.

See I still need to get one of these, and a nice example of a Zenith now that we're added those forums but I keep having great Omegas pop up to claim the money

I'll agree with Brent about the grey one - this is a cellphone photo from the night I took mine out of the package

I like that hands on the scan from Sala's book. Never been a huge fan of the boxy white hands. Ugly replacement crown on that watch, though.

I agree - the black and white is a nice one. Here is a quick photo from work this morning. I am packing up the new gold one to send for servicing this weekend. I will post pics of the entire current collection together along with all the UG paraphernalia when I get it back. Still think the solid gold round pusher and the grey dial are the best.
