I sold a mint stainless steel Seamaster DeVille a few months ago for $700. It was inside a 166.020 case - the only caliber 560 to come from Bienne instead of made in the US for Norman Morris (Omega's import agent at the time). Since I don't see the hallmarks indicating it's solid gold, it must be gold filled. That's not as popular as stainless and not as valuable as solid gold. I'd say that it should sell for $500-ish, maybe $575 max given the condition.

In MHO the caliber 560 really doesn't add a significant (if any) amount of value to any of the watches they were fitted to. There is some debate as well regarding the oft quoted production figure of 3000 pieces. There is nothing special about the movement from a technical standpoint and many would argue that the nearly identical cal 562 with 24-jewels rather than 17-jewels for the 560, is superior.

In looking at the dial I think it may have been refinished, since the cross-hairs don't continue through the lettering as they typically do.

its looks like the dial has been redone and the crown is not authentic. but the case should be 14k
