I'm trying to categorize the attached watch. The back does not come off, I'm told you have remove the movement from the front. Thanks
Just wondering is it the seller that gave you this information. Do you have the watch to hand. If it is the seller just ask him to take some photos of the outside back case of the watch. Maybe the seller thinks when you ask for photos of the back case he thinks you are looking for movement photos and not just the outside of the case. Ask politely once again and be specific. Good luck.
No seller. I have the watch. It was found last year after cleaning out my Mom's house after her passing. Some other pics attached. I see no visible seam on the back of the watch.
I’m not sure what you’re asking here? Do you need to remove the back? If it’s your watch that’s up to you??
Classic Deville Front loader. 14k gold is a good thing also Nice watch, most competent watchmakers can service it. Get them to take a few pictures of inside whilst servicing. Service and a new crystal will do wonders
Inside the back will show you the reference no and obviously seeing the movement will confirm the caliber and serial number. Regarding servicing, usual advice is to service a Watch for daily wear if it’s history is unknown.
It has a bit of sentimental value. It was actually her boyfriend's. He wasn't so much a collector, more a person who saw the value and beauty in things. Also found a Navitimer AOPA with this.......
can't see the serial number, if you have a pic of the inside case back, it will have the reference number for this model. Cal 1020 is from 1972 to 1984
Yup, I noticed that. I'll see if there are any additional photos. I may have to go to an OB to have it opened up....... With the 1020 movement I guess it's not as old as I thought. Updated pic below Thanks
