Could some kind soul please tell me what the red number means? Haven't been accessing the forum regularly I'm afraid, and I'm probably a bit confused
The white on red badge will tell you how many alerts you have related to posts you are watching or have responded to. Click on latest and then a new menu will appear and then select Alerts. Here you will see a number of alerts highlighted that correspond to the alert number. The red badge will then disappear.
To be honest, I've just understood how it works ... 3 days ago My deepest apologies to everyone who tagged me before and did not get any answer back. Shame on me !
To @dsio and @Trev, it would be great if the red latest number box re-appears again in alerts submenu.
It should be there if you have unseen alerts, once you view them, it disappears as it goes back to zero until there are more.
I mean in this submenu THREADS POSTS FOLLOWED ALERTS MARK AS READ It shows in the previous Latest menu, but once clicked it disappeared. It should reappear again above ALERTS so people will instinctively clicked that sub menu again.... like in the previous version. ...or is it happened only to my browser?
The red box will not show on a mobile device in portrait orientation. If you flip it over to landscape, it will show. gatorcpa
