So on the omega website I can't find a watch that matches there are some that are close but no cigar!

Don't worry about being new here, after a year or two you can start to recognise wrist wrinkles, freckles, hair patterns etc.

Oh!

And even watches!

 

It's the lighting, not a custom job...

 

I'd guess it's shadow and/or photo filters changing the colour a bit.

 

yes i wondered about that, but thought i'd check. Put it this way - that watch with black hands --> Winner!

No customization - I'm too much of a purist -

As others have said - it is the smooth finish on the Gold hands reflecting a dark colour.

That's why Pictures rarely show off the complexities and true beauty of these watches...


(Doesn't keep me from trying though...)

 

@Superdoc that last shot is a cracker. The lume on the little chrono hand is something I had not noticed before.
