Hello, all. Hoping to get some help here. I came across this piece and I don't know what it is. At first glance I assumed it was a magnet, but it's not magnetic. It's quite heavy with a hole through the top and the thick metal plate appears to be stainless steel. Thanks in advance!
There is a huge number of companies named "Omega", so it could be anything. I doubt it has anything to do with watches.
I'll bet it is a magnet, that metal plate is not being held to the red part by magic. Not related to Omega watches.
Okay, I was able to remove it! This was in with a bunch of watch related stuff. Is the silver metal plate by itself not related to Omega watches somehow?
I think it's the gift that will come with the 2019 50th anniversary LE Speedy. To illustrate its magnetic resistance.
Totally a magnet, once you remove the metal plate, try in on some stainless steel. There is also a English/Canadian Omega company https://www.omega.co.uk/pptst/MAGNET_TC.html
Go with your first glance. You'll be able to pry off the plate with some effort. Watch related content required:
