This Omega “pad” was included with my recently purchased 105.003 1964 birth year “Echo Whiskey”...and I was wondering what the specific function is regarding this “pad”.

Thank you in advance for any information. 👍

Good Question. I have a few of these in old boxes, and figured they were for padding during initial shipment or moisture absorption. Don't see too many around these days.

Also... Did I miss a thread about the watch? Congratulations, I hope you enjoy it!

I'll try. The next time you place your beloved inside a hotel safe, and take a picture; put the pad under it to keep the cooties away.

Seriously, it looks like they intend you to place your watch on it any time it isn't on your wrist or in the case. Just a guess.

My only advise is don’t give a sniff at what is inside

I thought that was its own widdle pillow you bought for it to sweep on.
Just slightly off topic: Someone told me this is you on the left when you modeled for J.C. Penney. I said it wasn't because that kid has no bow tie.
And thanks for the huge red arrow pointing at the pillow.

NO, you missed maybe two dozen threads about the watch. 😀

They are to wipe your tears when you realize how much you just paid for a watch that originally cost $165.00....

*EDIT: Can also be used as a band-aid/eye patch after your wife finds out how much you paid for yet another Speedmaster (that looks "Exactly the same" as your previous 17 Speedies...) :whipped:

I told you, it’s a blankie.

1) put the watch in the box
2) place blankie on top of watch
3) close the lid.

Snug as a bug in a rug until the mext time you hit the skatepa... er I mean church.

😕 Am I missing something, or is that a weird post?

You're not missing anything. It's weird.

And Nathan, how could you have NOT seen it. I feel like I've seen his echo whiskey more than my own watches. 😉

Doesn't look like an original Omega item, the font used seems too thin for the letters - maybe it's just me?

It’s obviously a face pad so that you can view the Speedmaster right side up whilst at your desk.

All bold reads better, isn’t it? 🤪

It's used to wipe up the mess after you spill your coffee at Dunkin'Dounuts

Thanks, sir. 👍

Here’s an “Echo Whiskey” pic from a few minutes ago...with my daily driver 2007 Ford Police Interceptor. Yeah, I know...why would I own/drive a law enforcement vehicle? I used to be a Cincinnati Police Officer...that’s when I started digging cop cars...so I bought my own cop car. 👍

Included cause your new Speedie is a pisser?
Edit: OP pad appears to be a knockoff
