Well it looks cheap and ugly. So I guessed Shinola as they seem popular amongst US politicians. A quick Google came to this. Distinctive lugs, pushers, and bezel look pretty close. Might be a different model though...
Politics aside here, the guy could wear pretty much anything he wanted. Pretty cool he chose Shinola I think.
I’d say that depends whether he wears it all the time, or whether it’s swapped for his Patek just before he goes on camera.
I was just looking. He swaps around a lot. Both pictures from the last seven days... still looking for the Patek though
Odds are Donna Hanover or Judy Nathan got the Patek or the proceeds thereof . . . Certainly his first wife (and second cousin) Regina Peruggi never saw either . . .
I'm going to disagree with that statement, because choosing to wear a Shinola is absolutely a politicians move - "It's made in 'Murrica and I'm supporting 'Murrican jobs by buying and wearing this cheap gaudy watch assembled from foreign parts right here in Detroit! It's a watch that shows I'm in touch with the common working man". If he were buying and wearing an RGM to support American jobs, I'd be down with that, but otherwise it's just pandering. To me it's no different than my father in law who buys a Dodge Ram truck because he "Buys American to support American workers" in response to us buying a Honda Odyssey. Oh really? Your Dodge Ram made in Mexico you mean? Versus our Honda made in Alabama? Which one do you think supports American workers more?
