I'm about 2/3 done with my complete Speedy collection and the final 1/3 is going to be damn near impossible to complete . I'd say: 2915-1 or 2 2915-3 or 2998-1/2 2998-62 or 105.002 [got it] 105.003 [got it] 105.012-66CB [got it] 145.022-68 Transitional [got it] I think the 2915, an early 2998, a late 2998, obviously an Ed, the CB (because it was NASA flown so often and because it's distinctive from the other Pro's), and finally, the transitional 861 because it's unique as well. The 145.012 doesn't stand out for me versus the 105.012-HF's or the 145.022-68, and any of the 145.022's post 1968 aren't "must have" additions to my collection (although I'm always on the lookout for a nice early 70's step dial with a ghosted bezel).
Entirely agreed - Leica Safari's / Hermes are a complete waste of money balanced against actual value However......As a Leica owner......once used......every other camera lens falls short....... Not unlike driving an '67 E Type, which I am also lucky enough to own However idiosyncratic, ( & occasionally dramatically unreliable ), the marque is...........the actual experience is unmatched
Rather than references, you could go by calibres... 321, 861, 863, 864, 866, 867, 1861, 1863, 1866, 1040, 1041, 1045, 1151, 1152, 1155, 1160, 1255, 1620, 1666, 3201, 3313, 3330, 3612, 5619, 5666, 9300, 9301, 9900, 9904 I'm probably leaving off a dozen or so. But this would be a good start.
2915 first configuration not important if -1 or -2 2998 -1 or -2 need to fit the Lollipop late 2998 or 105002-62 105003 or 145003 The first professional case 105012-63 NO T or a asymmetrical T 105012-66 if CB is it's better 145012-67 but it's better a -68 absolutely more rare and less seen in this ref we can find two type of Racing black dial or a Blue dial First Calibre 861 145022-68 145022-69 Brown? Racing ? if possible with 220 bezel if you like Gold ... 145022-71 NO NASA 145022 Soyuz 145022-78 NASA Radial Alaska III 3450809 1985-89 MoonPhase that's all?
