Too many years spent shooting, without hearing protection, has lead to me now wearing hearing aids.

That said, they are a Godsend, and I would not be without them.

Although very high tech, they do not have a SWMBO "OFF" button.😀

I share some of the same stories as many of you have noted, but only diligent about hearing protection since my 30s when I started riding motorcycles more seriously. I do find though that I have to be careful when doing a road trip in my wife's convertible....the road noise/wind noise with windows down is easily as dangerous as riding a bike.

Not hearing SWMBO is far more dangerous than riding a bike, I assure you.😡
