Just bought a Speedmaster 1861 with the intention of swapping the panda dial. I can seem to find all black hour hands for 1861 (only 1863) there are ones with silver ring where they attach. Do they make all black ones? aside for hour hands, dial and second hand should I order anything else?


Any insight or tips are greatly appreciated.

 

I did this mod back in 2012. I ordered these hands for the registers, they are all silver.

 

If you can find all black hands for the 1863 movement, which is what I think you are saying, then they will fit on the 1861 movement, which is basically the same except some finishing detail.

 

Yes, sorry if that was unclear. Has anyone done it with all back hands or have a pic? Just want to make sure its the right color combo.
