A Compax that appears to have been brutally de-chronographed listing here with more pics which I am not able to copy: http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-UNI...L-17-JEWELES-WATCH-KMBC-TV-1954-/391225018238Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network The case does not appear to have pusher apertures, and the movement has been stripped of the corresponding parts.
What's amazing is that the seller is going on vacation in the past! Or I'm the futur? He can't ship the watch until 8/25/2012.
Looks like someone is trying to sell off a stripped watch that they used for parts on their chrono. I have a Longines chrono that was completely stripped of all chrono parts but they had the decency to leave the pusher.
except that this one appears to have been recased as well, based on the absence of pusher apertures (as best as I can see). That's going to unusual lengths. What's more, the case is inscribed. So originally meant to be worn as a continuously running chrono?
For sure, but I don't think the seller did it. I think it was modified long before. You could look at the listing....
