My girlfriend actually owns more Omegas than me and her collection of speedmasters is quite impressive. Watches are geared more towards men so I hardly see or hear of watches that are marketed for women. I have only really seen women wear Rolex Datejusts, Cartier ballon bleus, and Michael Kors. Michael Kors did a great job revitalizing the womens watch industry in my opinion but it definitely doesn't fall into the luxury category like the rest. The only time I've seen a woman with a Omega is when I was browsing around in a Panerai boutique and a middle aged lady came in wearing a dark side of the moon which I thought was very impressive. I wanted to share my favorite speedy from my girlfriends collection. I think it's absolutely gorgeous with the purple dial and white leather croc strap. It came on a purple croc strap originally but she did a great job switching it out with the white omega strap. The diamond bezel surely makes it pop more. Feel free to share your significant others favorite watches! It would be interesting to see what the rest of your wives/girlfriends wear.
My better half currently alternates between a white ceramic J12, a blue faced Datejust on a cream strap, and this - my first Omega - a Brosnan on a black leather NATO
Since my wife is a former airline pilot, I figured that she would want a pilot watch or a pilot-like watch. That's a BIG NEGATORY! She really grooves on her Rolex Lady Datejust...it's her only watch and she wears it everyday.
Her favourite since our dating days, my ploprof long gone. over the past winter with a bricks bracelet and how it usually is As for the rest of the Omegas, she has a couple of ladymatics, an old dynamic that she "borrowed" from me, and a prestige quartz.
My lady wears her Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date (steel case and bracelet) as an every day watch. She has three karat gold Omegas, one white gold filled Longines, a 1928 Mars (my late father gave his mother in 1928), and four-coloured gold 6-size Elgin hunter cased watch (1895) originally owned by her grandmother. Then there some other miscellaneous stuff that never sees the light of day. File pictures only. Not the best.
My lady wears any and all of what I used to call MY collection Her own small pieces rarely see the light of day.
This is exactly the same in our house. My wife wears my watches + a couple of other ones that are hers. Mrs Persco's favourite right now is the SM300 on Omega mesh, followed by the 3570.50. She'll also occasionally reach for the Submariner. Her own collection includes a Seagull 1963 airforce chrono and a Hamilton Seaview. I have no recent pics, but here she is with a few stolen items...
She actually has a nicer collection than me Rolex SubC no date Cartier must 21 Gold diamond dial Longines cal. 9L White gold diamond set Girard-Perregaux Gold Girard-Perregaux
Mit wife's got two Omegas. In the summer time she wears a PO The rest of the year a seamaster two-tone is at her wrist. Sorry for this crappy pic......it is summer even in Germany.
.....my wife doesn' like the small, tiny bling bling girlie watches, though these watches are very expensive.
Daddy's little girl (our oldest child, Hannah, 17) proudly wears her grandfather's (my father's) vintage Hamilton. She likes the Hamilton quite a bit...she picked out the white replacement band. I have a difficult time reading my father's vintage Hamilton (tired eyes)...so I passed it on to her.
A few years ago I got my wife a Rolex Datejust. This way she can always say she has a better watch than I do with all my Omegas . It works!
