Does anyone know what this N marking means on the back of this Moonwatch?

I think it's a 'z'.

Looks to me as though it was put on using a sharpie. Bet it comes off with acetone. It was not put on there by Omega. The watch may have been owned by a collector who attended a a “stare and compare” event with other collectors, and that was his ID.

Your best bet would be to ask the Omega Boutique!

That needs to come off, it certainly didn’t come like that.

Interesting that an OB would do inventory markings with a sharpie on metal. Something suspicious here, but thankfully it’s just cosmetic.

Call the OB, send the pic and ask for an explanation.

That wasn't bought recently, was it? Looks like the back of those lugs have been polished (the serial number isn't crisp and sharp like they come from the factory). I wonder if the watch had some repair work done and that is a service mark.

How recently was it purchased? Based on the caseback, it's a 3570.50 at the latest, which hasn't been in new production for the past nine years.
