Sorry I should have made myself clear.

I am a newbie here. I’m looking for my first vintage omega. I don’t mind a good redial but since I am inexperienced, I can’t really determine what is good or bad and what should be the reasonable price point.

I would like to know if it is indeed a good redial? I really like the style and I found some similar ones from this seller.

    Thank you!

I don't think anyone here likes ANY kind of redial! I would personally also advise against acquiring a re-dial because when you get tired of it you'll have a hard time selling it.

The trouble is, it's a fantasy redial. That model wasn't delivered with that colour dial. Furthermore the case has been over polished.

Personally I wouldn't go near it.

Collectors abhor redials. Authenticity is highly valued, as is the patina on a well enjoyed watch. That said, not everyone is a collector. If your aim is to simply wear a watch that pleases you, go for it. The redial on your sample is competently done, the indices look even, the finish has no obvious flaws. The case has been significantly polished to remove whatever flaws it had, but the crispness of the features on the lugs has been lost. A tradeoff only you can make.

    Best of luck!

You'll have better results (and more satisfaction) if you stick to the private sales forums here :>

Others have already covered why this model is not a great one to get.
