Hello Guys I have collected Omega ref 2367 for a long while, have many of them and try to always acquire different case/dial combinations. I have come across this dial, and have not yet understood if it is a type which I had never seen before, or an old redial. See below the pictures I have taken. Arguments pro-original: 1- The cross dial is very precise and in the right place 2- the logo/script is also very precise and neat. 3- the back of the dial does not seem much dirty with paint, and has numbers and inscriptions which seem original 4- the silver circle is circular brushed 5- There is no notch at nine on the dial support. But have seen redials without it. Cons: 1- never seen this dial type in original ref 2367 2- There is no accent on the “e” of “Chronometre”. But have seen others without it. 3- the dial center seems air sprayed rather than micro brushed Please give me your thoughts - always welcome. In particular comments from an old fox like Erich/MacOmega Best wishes Franco
IMO it is a re-dial for various reasons, especially the font on "Chronometre", cross hair much too fat, etc.
Ok, it is clear that I can put that little doubt at rest. Somebody also pointed out that it had been already discussed: https://omegaforums.net/threads/mallmans-auction-ltd-omega-chronometre-30t2rg.12542/ Thanks Franco
