    I'm by no means even competent at detecting re dials or fakes yet but it looks like this was painted with a 6 inch brush image.png

    Yes, that's really an awful job painting the numbers. Also they should have used a fine steel wool to scrape the dial !

    I should add that in fairness to the seller it does state that the dials are "professional re-dials"

    vintage watches are a risky purchase. There is a reason people pay $7,000 + for a new Omega ... you could end up paying serious cash for garbage
