I just saw this watch on the internet and it looks amazing to me in photos. This is not available in my country. I can only order if I want to buy. I welcome comments from the users or those who have seen it in flesh at stores. I wish to know the colour impression of the dial and the weight of the watch. It would be a treat to the eyes if some photos on the wrist are posted along with. Attached photos are from the brand website.
It has a nice dial and not very expensive as well. I’m just waiting for someone to post his first hand experience with the look and feel of this watch. I’m sure some nerd here will have information I’m looking for.
I can go and check on out in the flesh later this week. So far the new Mount Blancs have been either poor quality or amazing but over priced. This seems not bad... Although the current Tiffany ct60 line is similar in look at similar prices. https://m.tiffany.com/watches/watches-tiffany-ct60
I’ve never owned any Montblanc watch therefore I don’t know about their quality per se. This watch has a salmon champagne dial that I am looking for some time now to add to my collection. The bronze steel case is another attractive feature of this watch. I’m sincerely waiting for someone to pitch in who has used Montblanc watches and can help me.
Not to hijack, but I wandered into a local AD recently and tried one of these on. It's a Longines Heritage 1918. Rather handsome if you are looking for a dressy field watch look.
I shuddered first at the strap choice. Missed the date window. The date window takes away the whole harmony of the piece.
Well, my thinking is that the location of the date window was chosen to fill in the ugly space between the second's sub-dial and the 6-hour marker (the vintage watches of the type would have the sub-dial centered closer to the 6-hour marker). The date window looks ugly and out of place in a "heritage" watch. I haven't seen a contemporary watch with a second's sub-dial that looks good because of that space. Here's a vintage Longines with a similar dial: Much Better! (though the crown looks incorrect)
