    The caseback does not belong to that case - the other parts are consistent with a 105.012 or early 145.012 speedmaster. Besides, the case condition is poor - overpolished and worn out.

    Thanks much again for the replies. I'll keep my eyes open for a better 105.012 or 145.012.

    It's surprising that a business that sells watches can't identify the speedmaster they have for sale. I'm going to find a 2915 caseback and sell the watch to them.
