Wrong box for the grand luxe but it's the watch that matters!

Look at the subtly placed labels in the fourth picture from the top.

Very nice watch. Slightly envious but lucky for my wallet, I don't think I will be able to wear this. Just wondering what's next on your list after these 2.

910 mark in 18 gold.... not sure if i can find one even if i did i am not sure if i can afford the crazy price... but that would be on my wish list.
Looks like there will be a non hooded straight lugs grand luxe connie on ebay soon... ;)

Thanks Steve.., was little worried about the condition.. though its not pristine but it sure is drool worthy :D

So do you think he will ever wear it, or just show it off in the box? Notice there are no wrist shots yet!

i tried some wrist pics mate... but they came out crapy as the length of the bracelet is 8 inches... you desire will be fulfilled once the other mighty grand luxe comes in....

The non-hooded lugs model is a deluxe and not a grand luxe.

Grand Luxe typically refers to the case type with hooded lugs. While non stepped piepan dials were not used in the GL, so in a sense the stepped dial is the exclusive models of those references (dome dials were also used on later grand luxes) the non hooded case can feature stepped or non stepped, with stepped being much less common.

Its probably not as well specified as it could be, as if you called a stepped dial a "Grand Luxe dial" people would know what you were talking about but typically GL refers to the configuration of that dial in a hooded case.
