    I'm a rookie at this but I think it's a redial:
    - minute marks too well defined and show no fade
    - cross hairs are too black, thick and well defined
    - vertical cross hair bleeds into the silver edge at 6 o'clock
    - horizontal cross hair appears to bleed into the date window, maybe that's an illusion
    - "Universal Geneve Polerouter Date" font looks like it's been touched up

Is it considered to look like this one:

What do you think of the vertical line of the crosshair not centered on the "U"? Do you find it OK?

(you should not, it is a -bad- redial)

Actually, even if you don't know much about a specific model there are "generic" red flags, as explained by @hungdangnguyen23 in his post. You have to pay close attention to the little details and the overall patina. Any spotless, new looking dial in a 60 year old watch is :cautious:. And back then, they knew how to finely print a dial and were not sloppy on high end products.

redial, but done in a quite neat way. Avoid.
