What do you think about this mark 2 racing? Do you think the dial is correct and stepped.
The bracelet is 1098/154? Is it corrett?

    Thank you.

That’s a nice dial you have but not stepped.
    Wrong hour hand.

Case looks like it’s in original shape but deserves a lap.
    Bracelet is original.
It has a lot of potential with a bit of love, have fun with it

Bracelet has some non matching folded links installed.

It would be helpful to see the end of the case where the bracelet attaches. That's the best way to see whether the case has been redone or not.. looks pretty good for these shots.

And i believe the mark ii dial should be flat...

    MK2 never had stepped dials.
Case is definitely not original shape. It has been way too overpolished
Both hour and minute hands look to be wrong

Hands are wrong? Not just faded?

Which ones? They look ok to me. Not as much experience with these though.

    That’s the Omega 1969 reference.

At the very least they appear to not have been originally paired with that dial.

That angle is bad for making a judgement call. Also looks like it's restored to me.

    Consider.

If you look on the word Tachymetre in the glass it is not placed centric between outer and inner ring of the black bezelring. That is a sign that this glass can be the original glass. Replaced glasses have the Tachymetre exact in the middle of the black bezel ring. The case seems to be used a lot but not polished. The difference in height between the glass surface and the small ring of the case around the glass is pretty low. Case refinishing leads to a higher difference in height there.
Hands are not matching and bracelet seems to be not original as mentioned above.
For me it seems to be a watch with potential.
A shot of the movement would be nice to the the serialnumber and condition.

The hour hand has a long lume strip instead of short and although badly polished it hasn’t met a grinding wheel imo

Wrong hands, wrong glass (with serif), ugly case, wrecked bracelet... but a nice dial thought.

I thought that in racing dial the subdials are slighly stepped like these in this picture.

Furthermore the black part of minute and hands of mine seem too short.

And the correct briacialets should be 1162/173 and 1159/154. Would this 1098/154 be correct for Mark 2?

I originally thought the hands were just faded/sun bleached? The case also looks like it's been polished in certain photos but not in others?

I'll say no more in my inexperience and let those with more knowledge comment - so I can learn more :)

The case has not the original radial finishing
It seems to have been polished by wearing (shirt, jacket, ecc).
